Our Projects
We are proud to share some of the exciting projects that our dedicated volunteers work on each day to better serve our community.
HAR Pet Food Pantry
Established in 2019 the HAR Pet Food Pantry provides free pet food to community members. The pantry is open one to two times per month and operates out of a storage unit in Noble.
HAR TNR Program
In 2022 HAR piloted a Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) program. Through donations from generous donors HAR has been able to TNR over 100 cats and find homes for over 50 kittens born to feral mothers. Neuter Commuter
This new program funded in part by the Kirkpatrick Foundation will allow HAR to work with community members living outside the city limits of Noble and Norman to receive FREE spay/neuter surgery for their animals. When grant funds were quickly exhausted local business Maguire Farm Store raised almost $2000 during a June pizza fundraiser to help HAR continue this much needed program.
